Supply Chain Engineer

Within our Supply Chain Services organization, the Regional Control Center is a centralized hub containing various disciplines that manage the end-to-end supply chain management for 1 dedicated logistic customer. The international transport flows and stock movements in the EMEA region are efficiently managed in various result areas.

To further build up our expertise and know how, we are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Engineer to strengthen our team.

In this position you will be member of the RCC in Oostrum. Your role is to design new processes, analyses for improvement and manage the portfolio management process. You will drive all improvement initiatives executed by Flex or partners.

You will be involved in and driving projects across the range of our customer’s activities from inbound, warehouse management, outbound transport, partner management, revenue management.

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll do:

  • Manage and report out the cost savings on a monthly base;
  • Have regular project portfolio update meetings with customer;
  • Analyze transport flows (inbound & outbound) and transport visibility flows;
  • Develop solution with an end-2-end process view: order management, transport, warehousing, reporting and analytics;
  • Bring forward new solutions and ideas to develop and improve supply chain concepts;
  • Scope and implement improvement projects;
  • Maintain, coordinate, and resolve system and  IT related issues with our partners and stakeholders.

What you’ll need to have to be successful and happy in this role:

  • Bachelor/ Master’s degree in logistics or economical field;
  • Minimal 4-6  years relevant working experience;
  • Broad logistics chain expertise with knowledge of different supply chain fields of work ranging from international transports, order management, data analytics;
  • Strong analytical mindset, able to have a broad view with attention to detail;
  • Strong internal and external communication skills in English, Dutch preferred;
  • Know-how of processes in WMS, TMS systems, data analytics.

Continuous improvement lead

The Continuous improvement Lead (CI lead) is part of the PMO & Engineering department and reports to the Business & Operations Excellence Manager. As a CI lead, you will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and implementing Lean process improvements within our warehouse logistics operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize our internal logistics processes.

Customer Service Representative

Within our logistics service organization in the Netherlands , the 'Control Tower' is a centralized hub containing a number of disciplines that manage the end-to-end supply chain management for customers. The international transport flows and stock movements for customers are efficiently managed in various result areas. For the benefit of our large international high-tech accounts, we want to strengthen ourselves with a Customer Service Representative. You are the point of contact for the customer, end customer, carriers and you ensure a good relationship by providing accurate and timely information about current shipments. The contact usually takes place via our Customer Relationship Management system and e-mail, in addition to required verbal communication. We work in small teams. The location is Oostrum (Venray).
