IT Infra 2nd line Service Desk Technician
Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll do
- Perform day-to-day and project-based work with minimal disruption of logistics business processes (implementations/changes).
- Log and track Service Desk (ServiceNow) tickets, keeping users up to date with timely and concise communication.
- Install, configure, manage, and optimize hardware and infra networks.
- Troubleshoot incidents, escalate where required, ensure timely resolution.
- Provide user support and training for general hardware, software, and other mobile/telecommunication devices.
- Identify, track, and escalate repetitive/severe issues, problems to realize changes and continuous improvements.
- Ensure current documentation of local processes and procedures.
What you’ll need to have to be successful in this role
- Education level minimal on MBO-4 level.
- At least 1-year prior desktop and infrastructure hardware support experience in a similar role.
- Preferably ITIL Foundation certificate.
- Experienced with networking infrastructure and VPN.
- Knowledge of Windows 10+ OS.
- Experience with Active Directory (Users and Computers).
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Windows Networking environment.
- Exposure to LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networks.
- MS Office/365 Troubleshooting Skills.
The position requires
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, team and service-oriented work attitude, hand-on mentality.
- Driving license (locations in Venray and Venlo).
- Good Dutch and English communication skills are required (German is an advantage).
- The position is fulltime. A few hours less may be negotiable.
