Customer Service Representative

Within our logistics service organization in the Netherlands , the 'Control Tower' is a centralized hub containing a number of disciplines that manage the end-to-end supply chain management for customers. The international transport flows and stock movements for customers are efficiently managed in various result areas. For the benefit of our large international high-tech accounts, we want to strengthen ourselves with a Customer Service Representative.

 

You are the point of contact for the customer, end customer, carriers and you ensure a good relationship by providing accurate and timely information about current shipments. The contact usually takes place via our Customer Relationship Management system and e-mail, in addition to required verbal communication. We work in small teams. The location is Oostrum (Venray).

 

What you will mainly do:
• Resolving and archiving incoming complaints;
• You prepare and participate in weekly and monthly reviews with customers and carriers;
• You are able to solve complex and ad hoc issues independently and quickly;
• You initiate corrective actions in case of progress problems and/or complaints;
• You take care of the handling and registration of deviations, returns, claims;
• You contribute to process improvements;
• You make progress reports.

What you need for this: 
• You have an MBO+/HBO work and thinking level;
• Experience in international CS / Sales Support environment is an advantage;
• Experience with different transport modalities (road, air, ocean, parcel) is an  advantage;
• A service-oriented, proactive and flexible attitude;
• Good communication skills in English;
• You are preferably available full-time.

Continuous improvement lead

The Continuous improvement Lead (CI lead) is part of the PMO & Engineering department and reports to the Business & Operations Excellence Manager. As a CI lead, you will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and implementing Lean process improvements within our warehouse logistics operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize our internal logistics processes.
