About the Role
As an HR Advisor, you act as a trusted business partner for both employees and managers. You provide operational and tactical HR support across the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding and development to performance management, absenteeism, and offboarding. You offer clear, consistent, and reliable guidance and handle HR processes with accuracy and professionalism.
You understand the dynamics of an international logistics environment and contribute to HR priorities such as labor market challenges, absenteeism, sustainable employability, employee retention, and organizational development. You take initiative in managing HR matters and projects, balancing various stakeholders and organizational levels with ease.
Your primary focus will be supporting our corporate staff departments (IT, Engineering, Quality, Customs, Finance, Procurement, and Business Development). You will also collaborate closely with the HR Advisor supporting our Operations Business Units to ensure consistent, people‑centric, and high‑quality HR services.
You will join a dedicated HR team consisting of an HR Manager, two HR Advisors, an HR Project Manager, an L&D Coordinator, a Payroll Administrator, and two HR Assistants. We work closely together within an open, supportive, and professional team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers.
- Advise managers on topics including absenteeism, performance, development, culture, and team dynamics.
- Manage the full HR lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding.
- Identify and act on organizational signals, ensuring HR processes and employment conditions are applied correctly.
- Contribute to HR annual plan priorities such as labor market initiatives, sustainable employability, vitality, and organizational development.
- Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the HR strategy.

Your Profile
You are an experienced HR professional with strong advisory skills and the ability to create impact. You bring clarity, structure, and thoughtful guidance to a dynamic environment.
You also offer:
- A completed bachelor’s degree in HRM or a comparable field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in an advisory capacity.
- Demonstrated experience with absenteeism, performance management, employee development, and the broader HR cycle.
- Strong command of Dutch and English.
- Integrity, organizational sensitivity, and a balanced focus on results and people.
- Experience in a logistics or international environment is an advantage.
