Logistics Process & System Specialist

The Logistics Process & System Specialist supports the operation with the design, support and improvement of (existing) logistics processes. You can be deployed as a subject matter expert or project leader within a project and / or operational team.

The Logistics Process & System Specialist has specific knowledge of processes and systems related to one or more customer
process(es).
In this position you will be a member the Site Process & System Expert team and report to the Supervisor Process & System Experts. You will
work closely with the Engineering, Operations, Office, and IT departments.

What will you be doing?
• Be first point of contact for operational support in assigned work area.
• Focus and act on continuous improvement and optimization of operational logistics
processes of different varieties (more/less complex).
• Draft and supervise project-based plans in collaboration with both internal and external
stakeholders.
• Testing, implementing new processes and software.
• Conduct time studies.
• Creating and adjusting work instructions.

What do you need?
• MBO+ / HBO working and thinking level.
• Thorough understanding of logistics processes.
• Experience with WMS systems.
• Knowledge and experience with LEAN is advantageous.
• Show initiative and are solution and service oriented.
• Can lead and cooperate within a team.
• Have effective communication skills.
• Are analytically strong, accurate, and have a structured & organized work approach.
