IT Servicedesk Employee

We are looking for an independent, analytically strong, experienced 2-line Service Desk employee who likes to get to work and deals tactfully with (international) users and colleagues. You quickly understand what someone is up against and patiently explain solutions. We like enthusiastic people with ambition who are eager to learn. Within the IT Group Infrastructure, service takes place for installation and incident management of workstations, servers, networks (LAN/ WAN), Wifi, scanners, telephones and printers. This is done partly in cooperation with various corporate support departments.

You will perform the above, reporting to the Team Leader. 

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Perform day-to-day and project-based work with minimal disruption to business processes.
• Timely resolution of support requests, forwarding or escalation.
• Install, configure, manage and optimize hardware and infra networks.

Regular management of our customers, from our office in Venray is also part of the job. Secondary you support projects with research, preparatory work and pre-installations.

What you’ll need to have to be successful and happy in this role:

• MBO 4+ IT education with 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Microsoft Windows
• Experience with Active Directory
• Experience with Microsoft Server Administration
• Experience with Office 365/ Azure
• ITIL Foundation certificate
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and service-oriented work attitude
• Driving license
• Fluent English (Dutch and German are an advantage)

This is what your day looks like:

Upon arrival, you will be part of a project team and, together with colleagues, you will take care of the transition to a new application. You put the finishing touches on a laptop installation and then you are on your way to Flex Venlo or Venray to help someone in our warehouse with a move. When you get back, you participate in a ZOOM meeting or answer questions by phone or e-mail regarding the incidents or requests that are registered in your name in our ticket system ServiceNow.

Before the day is over, you take a look at what's on the agenda for tomorrow. Every working day is different.
